Kirsten Davin is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program at Baylor University. As the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, she works closely with community partners to facilitate clinical rotations for students in the program.
Dr. Davin completed her Post-professional OTD in 2007 and has had a distinguished career developing web-based and hybrid-learning continuing education programs for a national audience of occupational therapy practitioners.
Dr. Davin has over twenty years of expertise in adult and older adult practice settings including acute care and rehabilitation, home health, wheelchair seating and positioning, assistive technology, and splinting and orthotics. She holds advanced certifications as a Seating and Mobility Specialist and an Assistive Technology Practitioner, both through the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).

- Telepresence robot use with clinical simulation in occupational therapy
- Use of hybrid course design and healthcare simulation in the provision of clinical education
- Successful transition of the student to Level II Fieldwork within a hybrid OTD program
