Post-professional OTD Curriculum
Baylor University’s Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (PPOTD) program consists of 30 total credit hours: 17 core credits, 7 capstone credits, and 6 credits focused on hybrid and online teaching. This fully online, cohort-based program can be completed in just 16 months.
- Core Courses are designed for practicing occupational therapists to enhance knowledge of advances in the field, clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and professional development and leadership.
- Doctoral Capstone Courses are dedicated to the development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of students’ capstone projects. - Hybrid and Online Teaching Courses focus on teaching in hybrid and online modalities, applicable in both academic and healthcare settings.
