About Baylor's Occupational Therapy Program
Occupational Therapy Program Information
Students in the Baylor OTD program learn through pre-recorded and interactive didactic instruction, regular engagement with faculty, hands-on lab immersions, fieldwork experiences, and the doctoral capstone project. The program is approximately 40% online learning consisting of synchronous and asynchronous instruction; 20% immersive laboratory with modeled clinical experiences in Waco, Texas; 40% fieldwork and doctoral capstone experiences in a variety of practice settings.

Baylor University’s Department of Occupational Therapy offers merit-based scholarships for incoming students. All students admitted into the Entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy program will be considered for a scholarship award. Applicants will be notified of an award, or of an opportunity to apply for a specific scholarship, following admission into the program.
