Lee Barton joined the Baylor OTD team in March of 2022 as a Clinical Education Program Manager. Her primary focus is fieldwork and capstone student placements, the procurement of contracts, and to act as a point of contact between the student and site. Lee will be the primary point of contact for fieldwork and capstone-related questions.
Lee is originally from Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana and now resides in the Greater New Orleans, LA area. Lee graduated cum laude from Louisiana Tech University and has worked in higher education most of her career. She began at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, LA then after moving to New Orleans joined Tulane University Health Sciences Center’s Department of Comparative Medicine in 2010 and then in 2018 transitioned to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Master of Occupational Therapy program.
Lee enjoys traveling, outdoor gardening/yard work, cheering on her chosen college football teams and the New Orleans Saints. She also enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and friends, great food, parades, and the beach.
